Gurgen Arakelov
I’m a researcher and technical founder focused on privacy challenges in AI and Blockchain. My work is centered on building scalable infrastructure for secure computation and enabling applications that require strong, built-in privacy guarantees.
In 2022, I founded Fair Math, a research-driven company dedicated to solving the foundational problem of privacy in AI and decentralized systems. We develop cryptographic infrastructure based on Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) and other privacy-enhancing technologies to enable secure computation in untrusted environments.
Fair Math is a US-based company backed by international venture capital firms and angel investors across the US, Europe, the UK, and Asia. We are actively building and scaling real-world solutions grounded in advanced cryptography.
I am currently based in the United States and work full-time on Fair Math, leading its technical direction and long-term vision.
Education: B.Sc. in Computer Science (2013), M.Sc. in Mathematics (2015), PhD Candidate (since 2019)
